Learning Objectives
Provide the basis for carrying out economic-financial analysis and evaluation of companies operating in the wood-furniture sector, useful elements for professional activity and for research.
The expected learning outcomes can be summarized in some precise points:
a) understanding of firm balances, defining production costs,
b) Basic knowledge of financial calculation;
c) reading of company financial statements, calculation of production costs, contributing to the compilation of a business plan and the development of marketing strategies.
d) Knowledge of wood product certification processes
Prerequisites
Minimum Knowledge of field of study: wood production and market. Principles of economics.

Production costs and full cost calculation. The economic accounting balance sheet. The main financial statement ratios: ROI, ROE, BEP.
