Non-EU Mobility

italian-flag-l40px

  • What is it and what does it offer?

Non-EU Mobility is a program that offers students the opportunity to spend a period (from 3 to 12 months) studying at a non-EU University which has a cultural and scientific agreement with the University of Florence and the School of Agriculture. Erasmus students can enjoy services offered to students at the partner university without having to pay extra fees.

The activities that can be carried out by the student are:

a) a study period that ends when the course exams are taken (a traineeship can also be done, if the university’s regulations allow that possibility);

b) thesis research if approved by the student’s tutor at the University of Florence and at the partner university (including the number of CFUs to be acheived abroad);

c) work for the student’s doctorate program;

                                                 Non-EU Mobility Call - step by step (ENG)

  • Where can I go?

The complete list of partner universities is updated yearly, therefore the definitive list will be available when the University posts the call (approximately January/February of each year).

  • Who can participate?

Students who are regularly enrolled in a degree program of the School of Agriculture at the University of Florence (or, in case of a master’s degree, students who plan to enroll before leaving for a mobility period);

Students who have not been Erasmus students for more than 12 months (24 month for single cycle degrees) for the study degree that they are enrolled in and which they will visit during their mobility period. This is valid not only for the University of Florence, but also for other Italian and European Universities;

Students who have not accepted other EU contributions to spend a period abroad during the period for which the student plans to be on and Erasmus.

Students who are enrolled in single courses, second level master programs and specialization courses will not be admitted.

The admission requirements are available in the yearly call published by the University of Florence in this webpage.
