Learning Objectives
Provide knowledge on the main forests and forestry styles in Italy, Europe and the world regarding their geographical distribution and dynamics, future prospects and key forest management methods, as well as the ecology and sustainable management of forest ecosystems. Provide technical tools and methods of analysis and synthesis aimed at the design and management of forestry interventions in the various types of Italian and European woods in a multifunctional perspective optimizing the provision of ecosystem services for forest landscapes.
Prerequisites
Forest ecology; botany of forest species; sylviculture
