Type of Assessment
Verification method: in itinere written tests, report focused on urban green. A final oral exam will be developed in case of one or more parts not passed.
The in itinere written tests aims to assess the learning process and the state of knowledge in relation to the programme. Final evaluation is based on weighted average as follow: first in itinere written text: 35%, second in itinere written text: 35%, report: 30%.
The answer to specific questions on the topics of the lessons, together with an appropriate use of the language, will demonstrate the achievement of the level of knowledge required.
The capacity to apply knowledge will be demonstrated through both the ability to solve problems withing the topics of the in the course and the ability to reflect and argument on the knowledge acquired.

Introduction to appraisal method, the phases of appraisal (aim, evaluation’s criteria, method), fundamentals of financial mathematics and applied statistics, appraisal of urban trees, stumpage value, Faustmann value, forest appraisal, damage evaluation, servitude, expropriation.
