The course is aimed at giving to the students the opportunity of experiencing real modelling problems in forestry. Through the use of geographic information systems and remote sensing tecniques.
Students are introduced to the use of GIS and IP softwares.
Prerequisites
The course of "Forest inventory and remote sensing" is highly recommended.
Teaching Methods
Didactical laboratory on the basis of specific projects
Further information
Usually the work is done on students laptop
