The course provides the knowledge of: 1) the juridical instruments for the comprehension of the discussed topics; 2) Italian laws dealing with the forest in its different functions (productive, environmental and as a landscape element); 3) the basic notions of both European and Italian Environmental Law, as well as of the juridical lines leading to the National Law and more stricly linked with the protection of nature.
The recommended textbook is "Diritto frestale e ambientale. Profili di diritto internazionale ed europeo", by Nicoletta Ferrucci, Torino, G.Giappichelli Editore, 2018, with particular attention to chapters I, II, IV, V(paragraphs 1,2,3,4,5,6), VII,IX,X,XII,XIII,XV,XVI,XVII,XVIII,XXII,XXIII,XXIV.
For an in-depth analysis of the Forestry Law in force, the recommended textbook is "Commentario al Testo Unico in materia di foreste e filiere forestali (d.lgs. 3 aprile 2018, n. 34), by Nicoletta Ferrucci, Milano, Wolters Kluwer, 2019
Professor Ferrucci will provide the students with didactic material (schemes and slides, law texts), uploaded on the E-Learning UNIFI platform. However, the shared material is not sufficient for a complete and exhaustive preparation of the exam, as it has a merely supplementary function.
