Knolewdge acquired: basis concepts on safety in postharvest plants; traditional and alternative energy; elementary knolewdge of electric plants and of good technique standards.
Competence acquired (at the end of the course):
Ability in understanding safety and energy aspects so that the common approach with the experts and technicians could be assured
Skills acquired (at the end of the course): To be able in plants evaluation taking into account environmental impact reduction; to know the problems involving safety in the whole factory .

Frequency of lectures, practice and lab, although non compulsory, is strongly recommended
