Learning Objectives
Knowledge acquired: the course has the aim of giving the basis knowledge on:
- the choices regarding the organization and the management for the farms of the forest-wood chain;
- the assessments of impact on the choices regarding land management.
Competence acquired (at the end of the course):
- competence of developing the necessary analysis in order to be able to organize and manage the farms working in the forest-wood sector, both at individual level and at chain and territorial level;
- competence in realizing a model for the assessment of the investments in the forest sector.
Skills acquired (at the end of the course): skills in the setting-out of a farm budget analysis, skills in the setting-out in the assessment of the convenience in the investments regarding the forest sector

The course gives a general framework regarding the national forest-wood system, with particular regard to the articulation of the chain and to the relationships with the regional policy. The analysis of the inputs of production and of their organization inside the enterprise is developed under an economic point of view, focusing in particular on the instruments of financial analysis and on financial mathematics.
